    mcl2av stand alone capability?

Is it possible to use a mcl2av to drive a pair of beolabs without being connected to a main system via mcl. I figured i might maybe work if you supplied the mcl2av with sufficient power through the mcl connection, to cheat the unit that it is connected to a main system. I could of course try this myself but the only beolabs i have are beolab 2000 and they do not come in handy here.

    Regards

    Hans

Yes, will work. If you have the IR transceiver connected, you can control the devices connected to the input sockets.

Will also work with passive speakers and an MCL2P.

    Thanks Stefan

That makes the mcl2av a very versatile unit and useful unit.
