    Beogram 3000 connection to a Beomaster 2200

Hi, I'm trying to connect a Beogram 3000 with 7-pin DIN plug to a Beomaster 2200 with 5-pin DIN phono socket. Since I don't plan to use Beolink I thought it would be OK just to snap off the extra pins in the Beogram plug. If anyone has tried this, your help would be much appreciated?

The two pins should be able to be unscrewed. Perfectly reasonable to do this - keep the pins safe somewhere though. They can be reattached if you need to in future. Don't just snap them off though!
