BeoLab 4000's at the Adelaide Airport

Yesterday afternoon i carted in, my recently abandoned 4000's in a big bag, to my workplace and installed them in the store (Tie-Rack + Rolling-Luggage). It was quite a challenge getting them up 3 metres high and kncking holes in the wall the get the cables through, grateful to have survived and not fallen from the ladder with a BL4000 finishing me off!! Laughing

They look and sound great and i'm pretty confident we are the only Tie Rack store in the world to sport a B&O sound system, so aren't we spoilt! If anyone is ever passing through Adelaide please come by and say g'day! Smile

    gidunya mate

maybe we could have a lifestyle post of ties !

my most recent tie purchases have been two with aboriginal art from Red Rock Gallery

First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*

They look perfect here, it's a great shop and i've already had people commenting today on the sound - i'm also happy to be getting my Beo-Fix while at work.

Yes i remember that thread, but i think any tie with a motif is awful. I compansate with a B&O lanyard at work (required for airport security ID)

I'm using the stereo head unit i also broguht there when i first started, even more moons ago - it's the 3.5mm jack from a 'Philips MZ-33'. Apart from slight white noise the sound is very good, in this set-up it is almost on par with the BeoSound2 3.5 mm jack to the BeoLabs.
