    Re: age of members

I went to a private party at club about a month ago. Didnt even drink. Still had a hangover the next day from the loud music and I stunk like stale smoke and booze.

Somewhere in my early 40's I lost all interest in clubs and as I drifted up into my late 40's I lost interest in expensive restaurants. Now the gang I went boozing, clubbing and carousing with we all get together at someones home (usually mine) and cook the dinners ourselves.

Next week my house as a matter of fact for dinner old movies and some tunes on one of my sets.

I wonder what the resulting patterns look like, Andy ... I suppose you are still drinking with your buddies while knitting, right?

Personally, I find it's all about meditation when considering diverse activities ... there's nothing like a determined attempt to weed out a garden - I recommend tropical climate as everything there grows fast and all the time - including the weed.

    Hi all!

Brand new member here - 34 yo and FEMALE! Two kids, girls age 3.5 and 4 and a husband who likes B&O as well (although I have to take care of the connecting and handling - I try to teach him some simple things, though, like turning on the N RADIO only on the kitchen speakers...).  Stick out tongue

I wonder if there's a woman that don't like B&O... My wife loves them. Her favorite is BL8000, she still don't understand why we have BL5's instead of BL8000... Big Smile

I lost my interest in "Clubbing" about 6 years ago! I was only 21-22 then.

What I hope I'll never lose interest in is a great meal and superb wines. Most of my friends, all in my age, enjoy a fine dinner more than clubbing.

So I agree with Lee, dining out with friends and great conversation is my cup of tea. I'm lucky to have found a beautiful wife so I don't need a night with another beautiful woman. Big Smile

    Re: age of members

Age 60.  It only seems a couple of years ago that I was 30, where does the time go?  Moral, enjoy every day as much as you can, especially your B & O!!  Wife loves B & O as well but, as we have had a few quality problems over the years, she feels they are overpriced and should not have any problems as a result!  (I don't think she knows exactly how expensive they are or I'd not be allowed to get any more!!). One son aged 24 who is  in London at present doing his overseas experience.  Works at Apple in Regent street.  Also loves B & O and urges me to buy more as he has his eyes on what I've already got!!  Cliff
