Can you rephrase the question?  Are you asking about the image quality?

It should be pretty darn good as long as you are viewing from a decent distance (8"+).  I don't know about the LED Samsung but I know that I like the plasma better than LCD.

I always liked the BS1 but keep in mind that it only has one component input unless you add a Zektor component switch (recommended) which allows for 4 total component sources.  If you need the extra inputs than search the forum for more info on the Zektor.

Also there is no digital TV tuner so you will have to use an external tuner/cable/satellite feed for any TV viewing once they pull the plug on analog broadcasts this summer.

LED-backlit LCD TVs do differ from conventional LCD TVs in some important areas:

1- They can produce a very bright image and deep blacks (doesn't work for Edge-LED

2- With Edge-LED lighting they can be extremely slim.

3- They can offer lower power consumption.

4- They can offer a wider colour gamut, especially when RGB-LED backlighting is used.

LED TV is a term used by Samsung to describe its line of LCD (liquid crystal display) TVsthat use LED backlighting.

I've seen both in person, and the Samsung LED looks better.
