    Do you mean the original list price ? These are products from around 1987.

    On Australian eBay there is a 5500 system for sale with a floor price of AUD1,000 and no bids to date ...

    (PS not mine!)

    First B&O (1976) was a Beogram 1500 ... latest (2011) change has been to couple the BL11 with the BL6Ks *sounds superb*
