Martin Simpson who played played via Lab 5's in our store, uses state of the art pre-amps, and bespoke Sobell guitars made by a master luthier in Northumberland, so the speakers had the very best signal going in.
Martin described the sound as the best he had played through - "like being in a warm bath of sound" He is the real deal, and it was nice to get his feedback ( ! ) about the speakers.

Aside from being a stunning player, and very nice chap - his recordings are very well done, and sound fine through any Beolab speaker.
