mcp 6500 hinges- does any one have a spair set

Hi guys, bought myself a white mcp 6500 but the hinges are a bit floppy, tried getting some off b & o but they dont make them any more, can anyone help me out? gambit.

I'm in the same boat with an MCP5500, I believe they both use the same hinge mechanism which is prone to the type of fault you mention, I was wondering how I could make them myself but gave up on the idea about 2 years ago - c'est la vie !

I have the same problem. And I have the idea of using the hinge of a compass. Most of them have these gear wheels. But the one I have has too big teeth
