I Have the Beocenter 9500 and it has extremely low volume. Does anyone know what the cause may be?

I think it may be the mute relay as at first it was cutting the volume completely off Even at the extremely low level it is at, but then after clicking it a few times to test it, the volume now does not change. Still hear the clicking sound of the relay and the "mute" light comes on but no change. To me it seems it's stuck on Mute even though the light goes on and off. Could this be correct even if you hear the clicking of the relay?

I think its the relay maybee the litihium batteri needs to be replaced

Stonk i think you may be right!

i read in the liteature that came with it;  Dummy Plug must be plugged in if line in/out is not in use. Its a multi (6) pin socket similar to other s plugs i have seen before. Does anyone know where i can get the dummy plug? do they sell them on this site?  If i had an eq or amp hooked into this socket it would work, but is this a B&O specific plug? Is there a way i can jump it with wires? If i knew the configuration of the pins i think i could jump it, like the dummy plug does...

The plug is nothing complicated. The pins are supposed to be connected 1-3 and 4-5. Pin 2 (in the middle) is not connected. You will need a 5-pin DIN plug where you can solder the connections (be sure to get the 180° plug version) or just use jumper wires for initial testing.

For pin numbers, see for example here (ignore the extra pins, the numbers will still be the same).
