Ok, so I'm due to pick up a Mark 1 BV7 40" soon and understand that its not HD ready.

Is there a (relatively) easy way to upgrade this to HD?

Are there other upgrades that I should be looking for? DVB-T module perhaps?

Also the software is flash upgradeable, what's the latest version that I should be asking for?

The HD upgrade is fairly straight forward but depending on your experience and indeed the willingness of your local dealer to supply you with the part, you may need the dealer to carry out this work.  The same applies to the DVB-T module.  In both cases you will be required to upgrade the software anyway, there will be a chip in the box with the HD module as which will make reference as to wich software to use from the PC software tool.  If you have fitted the SW from the HD module do not use the SW from the DVB-T box because this is a minimun standard required and is lower than the HD SW.
