Having just had a MMC20S retipped with a tapered aluminium cantilever and Shibata stylus, what should I call it?! It is essentially a MMC5000 so I have at present labelled it as such. It is designed to fit on my Beogram 4001 so is black but clearly MMC20S does not strike the correct level of performance. I have some thoughts but have decided to make this a poll!
What does one call a black MMC20 cartridge with a Shibata stylus?
The cartridge is a MMC20S with a new cantilever and stylus from Axel and sounds superb.
