Thanks Ignace, I tried to download and open both files and saw no problems.

The problem is actually with the internet connection of the user - if you have a rubbish speed (like mine!) the file downloads only partially and seems to be corrupt. I replaced all sorts of files before I worked out (OK, Keith worked out !) what was going on. Not an easy answer but as you are in Northumberland, you could always borrow the originals if you wish!
