    Transferring music via beoconnect

Could someone explain the best way to transfer a complete itunes library via BeoConnect on a mac? When trying to drag a folder to transfer all music within that folder, I get the message "(name of folder) is an invalid file type." Surely there must be a way to transfer all music in the library without having to manually drag all music files from within each and every folder?

I think I found the solution. You must select the files from within iTunes and drag them to BeoConnect rather than selecting the folders from within Finder.

    That is correct, sir!

However, I'm having some interesting luck dragging the files straight from my HD onto "BM-SHARES" (this is the name given to the mounted drive on the desktop when BeoConnect makes a connection to the BeoMaster 5).

When I first tried this I found that the files showed up but without album artwork. I was told by our helpful tech-support bots that in order to do this I would need to transfer through BeoConnect.

Now that seems not to be the case! I haven't verified that the recent software update has changed anything, but it seems that I only need BeoConnect to actually make contact and mount the drive, but can open the drive just like it was NAS and drop files into their appropriate locations without actually using BeoConnect as the conduit. It may be my imagination, but it seems faster to do it this way.

I'll post again when I verify that what I'm seeing isn't a fluke!

I've done it by dragging the entire library from within iTunes itself...
