before I splash out on a new tube, has anyone taken out the TV of an Avant and replaced it with a Plasma or LCD screen ??
It can't be done without completely removing all the electronics and simply using the existing casing. It has been done and there's a thread about it on the forum, but you won't be left with an Avant and it requires very gutting...

Let us know how you get on! We changed my dads tube a year or so ago cost me £500 for the tube alone!
