    MMC adaptor for non B&O turntables

    Hi

    does anyone know if you can get an adaptor so that I can use an MMC4 on a non B&O turntable that has the 4 pins red blue white green leads??

    Soundsmith have an adapter for $49.95 that should meet your needs.

    Is this what you are looking for? This came with a cartridge many years ago that belonged to my mothers friend. She lived in the Congo and couldn't get the cartridge without buying the adaptor (Was in one box).

    That is one for the earlier MMC*000 / MMC20* series cartridges with the spade fittings.

    Oops, thats quite correct Erm . Hmmm I wonder if there was an original B&O adaptor for the MMC4?

    yes I think the soundsmith cartridge is exactly what i want. dont mind the $49.95 but $35 for postage for a bit of plastic is a little excessive!!
