    touch panels

My Beosystem 3500 (Beogram, B'cord, B'master) is mounted on a wall & the touch panels have begun to fall off. Does anyone know of a specific padded tape that I can use to fix them back on with? Craig (Apr 24 '07) mentioned using thin carpet tape - care to be more specific, please?

I would use impact adhesive. You are unlikely to want to take these off again - why not make it permanent?

I fixed it at our Beosystem/Beomaster 4500. The touch glass is mounted in frames with foam.

Repair: See the instruction on the Beomaster bottom for dismantling the glass panel.

Get sticker glue remover/cleaner, remove the glass from the frames and glue the frames to the glass with very small layer/amounts of car windshield glue/kit (black kit), not the short hardening glue/kit. Do it at ease, take your time. Stunning system at the wall !!

    Regards, Robert

Hi, the tape I referred to was this type.

    CARPET TAPE

I've reattached mine and it won't come off again BUT i'm still too scared to mount it on the wall. I'm petrified it'll fall off. Stops me from sleeping everytime I hear something I thinks its falling off!  Don't how you guys do it considering there aren't any more replacement panels!

I reattached mine with black neutral cure silicone. I'm 100% certain they'll never come off ever again!

Thank you all for your suggestions. I think that the silicone/ windscreen goo is likely the best way. Neither of them cure to a hard finish & they remain flexible.
