Listening radio or CD from Beosound 3000 on my beolab 4 connected on Beoport/mac mini

    Hello,

I have installed a beoport (ir reciever and 2 beolab 4) with my mac mini. I have update the software of my beosound 3000.

I can use N.Radio and N.Music on my Beosund 3000, my beosound 2000, and my MX4002. all is just fine...

The trick is how to listen radio or CD played by the beosound 3000 on my beoport speakers ?

I have no experience with Mac, but surely if you have an IR receiver and you have Masterlinked your 3000, it should work by pressing CD on your Beo4. Works with my PC!

It is not possible with the mac and bm-link.  Sad

Bm-link was built to support N.Music and N.Radio.  If you want more, you need to use a PC and BeoPlayer (but then you lose the display on your BS3000, and also have to use Windows Ick! ).

The only solution I found was to buy a BeoLink Active... and put the IR on the shelf (it doesn't work with the active) and connect the speakers to the active.
