    Beosystem 3 and DVD

    If I'm using a Panasonic DVD player, do I need a DVD Controller or would the Beosystem 3 be able to control it? Reason I ask is that I have only the choice of the 2 B&O DVD players or Unknown DVD in the PUC.

    I believe so, you can only control set top boxes with the Beosystem 3.

    My B&O is in my Bio.

    Wich DVD player Pana is it exactly ?

    Your retailer can update the STB C list with his computer !

    I'm a french retailer, I know the problem !

    It takes really 5 minutes to do that !

    If you bring your BS 3 he could be do that for free.

    Thanks - it is the DVD-S97 (first one with HDMI). It worked OK with the DVD Controller. I just don't think it is necessary to have to use it now with the PUC.

    How do they update it exactly? Do they choose from a list on a menu or do they just put all the boxes they have in the ROM?

    We do as we want : on the computer, we have a list of products, we can choose one, or all (one by one). the creation of the data list is about 5 minutes for 5 products....

    And after, we update the Beovision or Beosystem3

    That's all !

    Can you post a list of which DVD make/models are available to support?
