Run out of AV channels, need help , how to connect extra unit ??

    Hi there !

i have BeoSystem 3 with number of units connected into it as follow :

Sky HD,  BeoCentre 2, Mac Mini, Wii, Playstation 3, Samsung SAT receiver.   it was ok before i bough BeoSound 5 and i bumped into the fact, that i have no spare input to connect it.  i was trying back and force and the only solution i found is to connect  bot game consoles Wii and PS3 to the same channel, via different type of cables.  PS3 use HDMI socket and Wii uses normal plugs , so i plugged them both to AV5 .

Now, the question is,  can i program macro command for Beo5 remote control unit, to switch input settings for AV5 on my BeoSystem 3, while i choose either one source or other , on the fly.

can anybody help me to know the truth ??

    thank you,

    Vladimir

What about a HDMI expander? Will give you three more inputs. Can be controled by Beo5, Beo4 (Lintronic).

i am afraid i have too many boxes in th set up , so i wouldn't like to have one more to make things complicated.

at the moment i have some macros at my Beo5  , which makes different speaker settings for different sources.

i am curious, can i do the same with the input settings ?

    any suggetsions ??
