Is there something to bee beware of? Has there been any updates, things that often get broken etc?

Has the look of the link eye always been the same?

I think these are generally reliable.  There have been different eyes - check out the other threads with a search!  The ylook similar but there have been some internal differences I believe (I am stil trying to understand the eyes!).

The main thing to look out for is to check you are not buying the MCL2P (only later versions of which had a Powerlink socket) an MCL ML convertor (no eye)  or the "correct" Passive as the top externally look the same.

If I understand it correct:

- MCL2P has no masterlink socket.

- MCL/ML converter will be a beolink passive if you add the eye
