    Cinema

Just back from Marbella, went into the local B&O dealer in Puerto Banus. They have the complete cinema set up, 3metre projection screen 4 belab 5s and some software they claim is theirs (not B&Os) to make everything work. They have servers with a massive library (no need for discs etc), and off course the backlit beo4 and shutters to exclude light. I imagine they have soundproofing as the sound is absolutely awesome.

Tempted to buy and bring on the plane but didn't have enough cash... They said they are the biggest in Spain, I don't know if they were showing off, but 100metres away is the marina with some pretty big boats.

The server is probably Kaleidescape. http://www.kaleidescape.com   . Some US dealers have that as well so there must be some sort of partnership. Very expensive though, but then again if you can swing a big boat ....

Great shop. I've been in there Brian and I did spend money.Cool
Unfortunately it was only on a pyramid charger for my 6000.Laughing They were cheaper in Spain than UK at the time.
Lot of rich and famous people on that marina. You can spot the real wealthy ones as they are dressed scuffily and do power-walking rather than jogging. Apparently jogging isn't good for ones bust!

    JK,

    I think your right.

I was in my local B&O store about a year ago and the store owner was having fun with me showing me all this server could do.  I was really impressed and was thinking this would be the icing on the cake of my new home theatre right up until the time I asked the priceSurprise  As I recall it was around $30,000.

It blends well with the B&O lifestyle, but I'm no where near that yet.  Pobably cheaper to hire someone to hold up my DVD's for me to choose, put them in the player and start it up!

Wow, thats very impressive and is a great idea. So when are B&O going to do one Stick out tongue. Forget the beomedia, that's what B&O should make next (never gonna happen I know, but one can dream). Although the problem will come when blu-ray/hd-dvd become popular, they are clearly going to have to rethink. Different encrpytion and also a lot more data per blu-ray/hd-dvd disc.
