    Beocenter 9500

Need copy of service manual for 9500, also any suggestion on how to re-fix loose glass panels. Have also experienced erratic manual control, ie cannot load CD or Tape and cannot manually switch off any help appreciated.

    regards,

    Stevemac

Hi Steve, welcome to Beoworld. As a gold member you can download the Service Manual from the site. To re-attach your Beocenter's glass panels I would use Double Sided Carpet Tape, the thinner the better. This worked perfectly on my Beocenter 9000. First I tried Double Sided Foam Tape. This was too thick and you had to press the panels very hard to get them to work.

Your erratic manual control is probably because your glass panel is loose and not sitting in close proximity to the sensor system.

I use superglue to stick the glass panel back to the plastic carriers. I've done loads of them and it works every time. Avoids the problem of removing the existing foam tape. Just run some superglue along the existing foam and hold the plastic frame in place for 30 seconds or so and job done.

The manual is not on site yet but peter has a copy on his site. Send him a PM and he will send you the password to download.

    Regards Graham
