Ok, I put this up some time ago on a Wednesday thread and got a Woop Woop Alert for mentioning or including anything B&O. Quite right too.
Anyhow, it wasn't answered and I still have the picture so I'll do it now.
What was I doing?
No prizes just for fun!

I agree and I am not familiar with the type of grille so I suppose it's something newer ... - Beolab 5000 ? Or is that too small ?

Close but not quite there. Peter is typically the closest.

That's a BeoVision 3 surround, and (trying to be really nerdy), it looks like a 28" one...

Well done Lee. Yes a Beovision 3 but this particular one was a 32.
Actual result was really good and was not too difficult - ideal if like mine it had got damaged or should you want to change the surround from a ghastly colour to black. I think they are about £80 new.
The TV's now long gone as I've gone the plasma route

Did the fabric in the middle interfere with image quality by any chance though?

It couldn't be beaten for anti-reflective qualities

Puncher:
Of course I knew the answer but couldn't say as it was Wednesday©
Ditto!
Shame on you Lee! Don't you know that most wooden, spring type clothes pegs are 71mm long! Obviously a 32"!

You asked about the prize - I would guess a B&O clothes peg as they seem to be growing sucessfully from the TV surround !
