    MCP5500 and Radio Presets

I remember how to use my Beolink 1000 remote to program radio station presets on my BeoMaster 5500

press Go To  xxx.x  ( for the FM station frequency )

press Store  -  then type in a preset number ( between 1 and 20 ) and

    press Store again

but I can't remember how to do it using the MCP 5500, can someone refresh my failing brain, thanks :-)

Tune to the channel you want; press Preset on the secondary panel and the first free preset will flash. If you want a different preset number, key in the number, then press Store!

To tune , you press radio and then use the << and >> buttons. If you want to tune manually in small steps, Press Go To, and then the << and >> buttons. Then preset as above. To change to AM from FM and vice versa, press the Turn button.

now I have the hang of it, thanks.

the display cuts out quite quickly, I guess it is to save battery, but I don't remember it turning off the display so quickly before, so I changed the batteries, but it made no difference, is there a button to keep the display on at all times ?
