DIY HDD upgrade of a HDR1 - Is it possible?

    Hi!

Have anybody tried to upgrade the harddrive on a HDR1 themself?
Is it possible to change the harddrive to a bigger one and clone the files from the old to the new harddrive with a PC?

    Regards Rasmus

Since you don't know if it's NTFS or FAT32, why don't you remove the drive and connect it to your PC with a spare IDE cable, or as a slave on the existing IDE cable.  Once you do that you can use Windows Explorer or MyComputer to look at the properties of the drive.  That will tell you the format.
