The first BeoWorld Prize Draw!
Well, the time is fast approaching for the very first BeoWorld Prize Draw, and this post is just to give you an insight into how it will be done (for the first draw at least!)
At 9pm GMT on Thursday 31st May, we will be announcing the tenth prize winner via a new thread on the General Forum. At one minute intervals we shall be announcing (on the same thread) the winners counting down to the top prize of the BeoSound 4.. The draw will in effect be "live" as we will be randomly generating the numbers between posts and matching them to the prize draw entrants.
This has to be the possibly the best prize draw of any forum on the internet, and we have hand picked some fantastic items to please both B&O newbies and also seasoned collectors. The prizes are BeoWorld's way of saying "thank you" to the members that have put their hands in their pockets and supported the site by going "Gold", and we sincerely wish them good luck! Without paying members, BeoWorld would not be the site it is today - the best!
May i just say that anyone holding back from upgrading, and staying "Bronze for now" should really think very hard about it! The chances of winning a prize are ridiculously good. Please also remember that joining as a Gold member not only enters you in this draw, but another ELEVEN throughout your membership. It also supports BeoWorld, and enables us to keep on making BeoWorld better for you, the user.
So, may we wish all Gold Members the very best of luck, and hope you are delighted with your prizes when you win them!

Already know I can't be on-line at that time Thursday - Bugger! Never mind I'm sure the prize will soften the blow of not collecting it "live".

One more thing to remember is that this draw has been 6 weeks in the making (hence the extra extra special prizes), and once thi sis done there will be a draw EVERY MONTH !!
It's going to be great fun building up to it every month, and hearing from the people that have won the prizes. It will be great to see people who could not afford it normally being given the chance to have some great Bang & Olufsen products for free! (well, £2.50 - being the monthly cost of membership)..
Personally, i'm really excited about the all white Beosystem 7000 in the June draw. What a prize!!! I look at it every day (it's on display at LifeStyle AV) and smile at the thought of it's new owner getting such a rarity! I do hope the winner realises what he or she has got and cherishes it. I'm a bit of a softie when it comes to the late 80's stuff..

One of the girls at the office managed to buy one posted for sale on the net, in full working order.
When her friends visit her and her boyfriend they can feel palpable envy over the white Beosystem 7000. They have aluminium CX-100s and a white Cona with the system - looks fabulous. And plays wonderfully.

Me too mate - the white BS7000 has to be the prize I would like most of all - but what to do with my existing BS7000? Dilemma's..... dilemma's...... Chris.

Me too mate - the white BS7000 has to be the prize I would like most of all - but what to do with my existing BS7000? Mate, place one in your main house and the other in your summer cottage on the Cote d'Azur, unless you really want to spoil your dogs.

Is this a cryptic question where i have missed the point?
The July prize draw will be drawn on the last day of the month, which is the 31st - unless there is a leap-July with 32 days i've missed (scratches his head)
