Hi all,

Here's an odd one.  I have a white mx5500 (lovely) but the motor stand has packed up.  I have tested the stand with my mx6000 and it works beautifully, but when plugged back into the 5500, no joy.  When you press picture on the remote there is no option to move the stand.  Has anyone encountered this before?  Am I just being a div? do I have to bite the bullet and go to my local dealer? arrrrgh! or just forget about it not being perfect, and get on with leading a non OCD life.

It sounds like the MX5500 isn't recongnising the stand. There is a sequence to follow when attaching a motorised stand to a MX for it to recognise it and hopefully this is the problem.

Unplug the TV from the mains & detach the stand connection. Then plug the stand into the TV before plugging the TV back into the mains & powering on,
