Hi,
Sorry for the delay in replying, I've just seen your post (the past few weeks have been very busy!)
Beogram 7000 (1992-1994) should have a captive Datalink cable with a 7 pin DIN plug fitted as standard, whereas from memory I think the earlier Beogram 8000 (1981-1982) had a 7pin DIN socket on the back so that a removeable lead could be fitted, as per Chris' comments.
Hence, if a previous owner has replaced the captive DIN plug on your BG7000 with RCA plugs, you have two options:-
1) Add a twin Female RCA to 5/7 pin DIN cable to allow connection to your B&O system without any modification, although the Datalink function will not work.
2) Have the turntable modified to replace the RCA plugs with a 7 pin DIN plug, so that the turntable can be used with your B&O system and the Datalink function will be fully operational.
Let me know if you need any assistance with either option.
Regards,
Steve.
PS. Thanks for your kind words Chris!
