    mx 7000

    Hi,

     I have a beovision mx7000 that now shows a vertical white line across the screen when I turn it on. he sound works and you can see something or other flickering in the white vertical line..... Does anyone know what the problem can be?

     would be really grateful for any comments. Thanks

    Sounds as though the horizontal deflection has a problem

    I am in Farnham near Guildford if you would like me to take a look.

    Hi,

     a little far away I think, I live in Spain. A friend of mine has certain electronics knowledge, what should he look for? any suggestions? thanks.

    As stated this is a deflection driver issue, so your friend should check the voltages and signals on PCB4 which is the Power Supply and Deflection module.

    thanks for that. would take it to an official shop but the person running it in the area here is a useless, unfriendly and very expensive person who has incompetent people working for him. so I will give it a try through other channels.
