Is it possible to connect two sets of 2500's to my beosound4000?? I have located an extra set and their small size could be easily concealed??? What would I need in the way of a Link system in order to do this with the 2500's or say any other B&O speaker???Any ideas if this is possible at all??? THANX
Heya
You can connect the Speakers to the Beosound with this Y-Powerlink Adapter:
Before you do this, remember that two speakers playing the same material in the same room can cause phase problems. The same thing as listening to a mono track through stereo speaker setup. Experimenting with speaker placement may or may not solve that, give it a try and see how it works - for plain background music this rarely is an issue.
Masterlink and a beolink active.
Beovision LX5500, BeoCord V6000, BeoSound 9000, BeoLab 8000, BeoLab 3500, BeoLab 2000, BeoVox1, BeoCom 6000, Form1, LightControl 1
The additional speakers would be located in a seperate room.
Where wouild one purchase the Y cable that was mentioned also how would it work?? Or to put it in laymans terms where would I plug it in???
Also what exactly would I need inorder to get a Master link and beolink active to operate these speakers???
THANX
The Y-adapter (or T-adapter as B&O calls it) isn't what you're looking for. The T-adapter is for connecting multiple speakers together in one room.
If you want the second set of BeoLab 2500s in another room, then a BeoLink Active is what you want. It will 'link' to your Overture with a MasterLink cable (available from B&O stores, but ideally one would be wired to exactly the right length by an installer) and connects to your BeoLab 2500s via PowerLink.

What would be the cost of a B&O Active link set up not includeing the price of the speakers??
I unfortunately am quite a dstance from the store around 4 hours so I would have to think I would be the individual installing the system. Is the systrem a difficult one to installor is it mostly running cableing???
It's very easy to install a master link system.
If this is your first master link product it's just to connect a master link cable (available in different lengths) between the BeoSound and the Beolink active. To the Beolink active you'll connect the speakers and ir eye (known as the hockey puck).
All you need is available both new from your dealer, or used on ebay etc.
