Member bundoalex kindly posted today some infos on the expected new products in the german forum. For those of you not this familiar with the german language I will try to translate them. All quoted prices are imho suggested german retail prices incl. vat, which is 19% at the moment. Some facts are already known, some not. So here you go:

Updates on existing products:

- bv8-32: new, lower price of € 2.900,- incl. beo4 as from 04/09

- bv7-40: 100Hz, full hd lcd, ast (what´s this?), blue-ray, as from 04/09

- bv7-32: panel update already incorporated, 2x hdmi, as from 04/09

New products:

- bv10-40: new, wall-mountable lcd with minimum depth (6cm incl. wall bracket), first class speaker, dvb hd, ddss, starting from € 5.000,- as from the end of 2009

- bv8-40: 100Hz, full hd lcd, dvb hd, improved speaker, price of € 4.000,- incl. beo4 as from 04/09

- bv7-55: new top-of-the-line led-powered lcd, € 13.000, as from the end of 2009

- bv6-26: bv instead of bc, without fm tuner, 2x hdmi, price of € 2.900 as from 04/09 (finally probably THE tv for me)

- bv4-103: version with wall-mount € 70.000,-, with stand € 85.000,- (these prices are said to be without vat), as from 04/09

- beotime: mobile timer programming away from master unit possible, sleep timer, basic remote control, motion sensor for left / right hand operation (?) beautiful design, € 350,- as from summer of 2009

- beocom5: new 2-line dect with external speaker, as from summer of 2009

- new audio concept: in addition and extension to beosound5, especially made for link rooms, integration of mp3 player, as from the end of 2009

- new subwoofer: unusual, "extravagant" design, wall mountable, vibration-free, pricepoint considerably below bl2, as from the end of 2009

- new ipod dock, available in the near future

Well, the stand for the Beovision 4 / 103" seems to be a real bargain.

I really don't see the point of that IPOD docking station:

- what is an IPOD? A portable MP3 player

- where do its music files come from? Er, from your computer

- and what is your computer connected to? Er, BeoMaster 5

- and what do both your PC and BeoMaster 5 contain? Er, the audio files that are in your IPOD

- so why having the same audio files twice??

-You can buy an iPod dock without having to buy a BM5...

-Maybe it has some local speakers, and can act as stand alone, or a local link source independent from your main system...

-It was probably planned before Apple decided to drop DRM, so this would have been the solution to play Fairplay encrypted filed...

-You can play you visitor's iPod songs

Cool! that are the news we have waited for so long! 

the iPod dock could be an intersting solution if you do not want a BM5 or have a computer always up and running for Beoport.

Since I have a BV1 in my sleeping room I really would love to a sleep timer function, mybe the beotimer can do this.

We don't know, it is just rumours/speculations...

This looks to be an exciting year and I agree with beoberlin - the new BV 6-26 sounds like the TV for me too. And I'll probably get the BeoTime as well : ) Can't wait to see what the new stuff looks like.

I wonder if the new audio concept (mp3 player support for link room) is something along the lines of the BS1 with MasterLink capability (that many on this forum have wished for over the years).

The MP3 player thing from link room is probably a sort of mini BS5 display that can access the BM5 playlists from link rooms.

Today the only possibility is blind navigation.

So it's works only in combination with BM5?

wow. An Ipod dock. If it is one of those solutions with speakers then B&O is entering into a very competitive arena. They better come up with something that is value for money cos many what there look superb and sound great at the same time. If B&O is gonna price way above its competitors then it must be able to at least compete with the Geneva Sound Lab Ipod docks. 

Actually it will be a good time to get rid of Beosound 1 and replace it with an Ipod/ cd player dock. Beosound 1 is getting a little old. 

Just bought an iPod universal dock from Apple.

Carge any iPod/iPhone and exit through a mini jack as a line out.

It comes with a remote control.

I attach it to the AUX input of my BeoSound 3000 and I'm quite HAPPY with it.

Less than 50 USD.

I bought an iPod/iPhone dock from Apple, too. However, not very happy with it.... Very often the iPhone displays "this is not designed for the iPhone please....". Also the remote control of the iPod function of the iPhone is not fantastic. Furthermore, no adapter for my old iPod.

And 35 Euros for this piece of white plastic without any cable? For me worst Apple $ I have ever spent.

Even if the B&O dock would cost much more, if it integrates my music in my ML network without a PC, I am interested!

(However, with a BS3 an Apple TV would make more sense for a simular price point, so we will se...)

Kawo, try to carefully clean the dockconnector on the iPhone and in the dock. That annoying error message is often caused by bad contact.

I thought AST stands for "Adaptive Sound Technology", the new enhanced soundchip on the Beosystem 3 which uses a microphone to calibrate the sound to your room.

I just noticed there was no mention of BeoVision 6-32 in beoberlin's list. A bit surprising, as it was on every other "speculation" list. I do hope they bring it out anyway ( it would be the perfect replacement for our BeoVision 3-32 ).

I think that there were only speculations and dreams of some forummembers.

According to my dealer, the BV10 will be 50" and not 40", with a design close of the BV5 but ultra slim.
