    Avant - Sky - BS7000 -V8000

    Hi.

    I have my avant RF32" DVD linked to a standard sky box and a V8000 and a BS7000.

    I recently disconnected the tape deck to have work done on it (it is now reconnected)

    Ever since disconnecting it when i press DTV on my Beo 4 the main screen turns on and remains blank whereas it used to come on to whatever channel i was watching before.

    Now i have to go into the STB menu (menu >1) to select TV guide on the sky main menu.

    Has anyone got any ideas how to remedy this?

    Fil, have you tried unplugging everything, waiting 10 mins or so. Then plugging it all back in again. This seems to cure a wide range of problems.LaughingLaughing

    Yep tried that....still no luck.

    It seems like it's only doing it after being turned off for a longer period ie over night.

    After Just a couple of hours the it all turns on just like it should.

    Anyone else any suggestions please

    Has the set up of the Avant changed? Check that the sockets are assigned correctly. Sometimes removing something can upset things!
