Beo5 and VX7000's auxiliary select function

    Background:

I have connected a computer through the "auxiliary input" (RCA) on the back of my VX7000 as I ran out of scart connectors on my BC1 (STB and VX7000). I have now connected a Lintronic 238 box to the computer and set up my Beo5 (using the configuration tool v1.1) to control the computer (MediaPortal), which works really well.

    And now to the problem...

However, to see the computer on my BC1, I have to first press V.TAPE/MENU/GO/STEP UP/STEP UP/STEP UP/GO on my old Beo4 in order to reach "auxiliary select" in the VX7000's menu system before using the Beo5.  I would like to put the Beo4 in a drawer for good and make the above steps into one button on the Beo5 screen.  What is the easiest way to replicate my Beo4 steps on the Beo5? I have made a macro with the above steps, which does not always work.  I have tried to add delays to the macro but with little improvements.  Any suggestions/shortcuts/single commands to do the job?

Have you tried V.TAPE - MENU - 5 - 5 - (GO) I'm not sure the GO is nessesary, try it with BEO4 first

    Hello,

Thanks for the advice! I tried with the Beo4 but without any luck - no response to numbers in the VX700 menu system...

I'm still trying out with some delays filled in between the various commands and getting closer to an acceptable success rate...
