Is there a way to delete all the tuner presets on a Beomaster 5500 at once?
I tried to clear 1 and then the preset number disappears, but to do this with 100's of stations is a bit much.
Well you could pull it apart and take out the battery but it only has 20 channels so why not just retune it to the ones you want? You will have to do this anyway.
Good answer Peter!
Poor me, never win owt!
If the Beomaster is remembering all the stations then the battery should be fine? My BM6500 remembers all the stations I've programmed but not the Bass, Treble and loudness settings. Goes back to the old settings once I've turned it off. Is it because I am using a Beolink 1000? Tried with the Beolink 7000 but the same thing happens( granted Im not 100% sure how to do it with a Beolink 7000)
Thanks

You need to store the bass treble and balance settings once you have chosen new ones using the Beolink 1000, MCP 5500 or MCP 6500.
IT WORKED!!! Thanks so much Brian! Can't believe I didn't think of pressing store! I don't remember having to press store on me Beosystem 3500 so thats why it didn't occur to me. Was just about to change the battery!
Since you are so clever....lol...do you know how to change from AM to FM with the beolink?
Thanks SO much!

The TURN button on some older Beolink 1000s
I will need to find a newer model to test the equivalent button...
The BL 7000 will not work with the BM 5500 - it should be alright with the newer 6500.
Brian
Worked!!
Thanks so much!!
Shift, Sound on newer Beolink 1000s.
Radio, Goto, Shift, Sound on my 7000 system. Shift and Sound must not have a big gap between them.
