    Dropping a 6000 usually results in the display showing funny stuff. This is because the connection between the display and the contact rubber is lost very briefly interferring witht the communication between the display and the main processor. When the display re-initialise (e.g. when pressing DOT 7 to enter the menu) the display returns to normal operation.
