can you tell me, how would you attach a Blu Ray player to a Beosound 4 to get the sound through it? what cables and what connections would you use? im a novice to all this...........

The problem you have here is that the Blu-ray player will be multi-channel and the BS4 is stereo only. You can attach a line level output on the Blu-ray player to the Aux In on the BS4. It rather depends on your Blu-ray player as to the outputs available.
