Small but perfectly formed (essential) part for Beocenter 2200 - yes I realise its old!

Brand new owner in the Preston , Lancashire - Red Rose County - part of Beoland, though long in tooth! suckered by belief that nothing could be wrong with such a 'quality' item. Needs a counterweight for the tone arm would you believe?  Can anyone out there help please?

Hello, and welcome to Beoworld. As luck would have it I have a Beocenter 2200 that I have just about given up hope of fixing. You are more than welcome to have the conterweight for the tonearm. Are there any other parts you need.?

What a heartwarming message in these times of greed & strife.  3 cheers for Craig.

Thanks for this message of hope Craig. I was staggered but excited to actually see response to my plea. Deep down it was the reception I had hoped for; but your comment 'I have just about given up hope of fixing' is disconcerting for a new owner of a not new model.
It is still early days in my 'getting to know' the new bit of equipment. So far, apart from the User Manual the counterweight is the only part definitely missing. I suspect that the stylus may have taken a bit of stick as a result of the missing part. The radio sound is nice but you will guess the rest when I explain that I have been studying some e-exchanges on the net in 2007 under 'no action from the tape' on this model.
I'm not sure how this messaging works. Do you have access to my e-mail address to discuss arrangements for shipping the part to Preston?
    Cheers  George B

P.S. This duplicates an attempt via Outlook so perhaps I am learning?
