I have number 466! i ordered mine just after they were announced so I'm not sure how the numbers were allocated but well done

The cost of the standard 9000 where i am is £3200

i am also ordering the covers that go along the top and having them coloured white just out of interest to see the result!

You must let us know how long it is before someone snaps up No. 0002! (I can offer you Thruppence a week for it)

They are certainly all impressive numbers, a sophisticated collector might though always consider the latest make, ie no. 1500. While BS9000 is not a print, there is certain symetry to that and he who is the last shall be the first ... until they introduce all-black limited version.

...covers are ordered and are due in during the week! i was planning to use a smooth matt white Hammerite paint, applied using a very fine airbrushing kit?

anyone more knowledgable in this area feel free to add advice!

Hopefully these can play more than 255 CD's before they start to act up...

BTW will the BS9000 be discontinued after these 1500 in white?

There was some rumors about that... 

Honestly I think they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they discontinued it.  B&o has often made the mistake of carrying the same product for too many years without an update, but given that this cd player is arguably the modern quintessential B&o piece I can't see it as a wise decision.

I have just had my new Beosound 9000 ( Limited Idition No: 0025/1500 ) deliveried on Saturday morning, have not yet had time to fit on the wall,  this will be replacing my BS3000.

I cant wait to start using it,  

Its 22.00hrs, and just finished fitting my new bs9000, just sat here listening to the music, and watching it glide from cd to cd, its a piece of art, would recommend it to any one.
