how to fix a scratched contrast screen

Hi Beoworlders,

got a cheap BeoVision Avant DVD 32" from 2005 ( 400 Euro..)

unfortunately the coating of the contrast screen has come off due to inappropriate cleaning of the first owner.

just called the BnO Servicecenter and a new screen is almost the same price ( 380 Euro ) I have paid for the whole set incl. BEO4

is there a way to put a new coating on the glass or do I have to buy the new screen?

No theres no way you can re-coat it, wow you got yourself an amazing bargain there.

If you buy a new screen it's STILL a fantastic bargain!!

I'm agree with Dave !

If you pay 380e for the screen in total would be 780e which is almoust like a free present !

This Avan worth at least 2500 e

when your Black Label begin to taste like juice just take shot or two of Absinthe and after that quench with some vodka, if you still feel juice like take beer with grappa !
