    Beogram 1800 5813 cartridge question.

Any help would be appreciated on this.   I have a Beogram model 1800 type 5813 purchased used with a defective MMC4 cartridge.   The question:  is a MMC 10E cartridge compatible with this unit?  Only have 4 hrs to decide!!!!

Also, since I don't have a manual, is there any anti-skate adjustment on this unit?

    TIA,

    Salvadord69

No. You need a MMC1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. The MMC10 uses a completely different mounting. The best advice is to get a Soundsmith SMMC4 though. Much better.

Hey, thanks Peter, for the quick reply.    Any thoughts on anti-skate adjustment?

Antiskating is integrated in the tone arm system. Erik
