    beomaster 2200

    hi i'm new to forums so i hope i'm doing this right a have a question i hope someone will be kind enough to answer. i have just bought an old beomaster 2200 and am delighted with it i have made a lead to connect my mp3 player to the tape input.  however it seems quite quiet the radio is loud enough at level 2  but on the tape input with the mp3 player (ipod on dock connected to line output) it needs to go to five to be adaquate my question is is this normal and can it be adjusted many thanks sorry for long post

    The output of the iPod is quite low - you need to have it on full volume but even then it is relatively low. The 4400 has pots on the bottom to adjust the sensitivity but I can't remember seeing these on my 2200 when I had it. I'll ask around though!

    thanks for the response peter

     it came with full drawings which show adjustments for lots of diffrent parameters most of which i dont understand so i havent dared twiddle with it i'll try a diffrent input (cd player)and see if that helps thanks again.
