Hi again, next problem

When i bought my beosystem there was a beogram 5500 in very bad shape... I just had a look inside and i think most of the errors will be gone with some silicone spray in the wheels inside (it has problem with start, the solenoid cannot put the "thing" in the wheel out to the platter axle)

But, the biggest problem is that the arm beside the tonearm is broken, it doesn´t exist, just three wires. Are they only there to indicate 33/45 rpm) ? Then i will just cut them, it won´t look so good but i can still use the player if....:

The motor sounds bad, it´s a ticking noise so i suppose it´s worn out... Is it worth trying to repair?

Yes it is a wreck, but it´s on my table right now, and if it´s broken, fix it :-). And if i can use it in my livingroom, noone will see it´s broken when the cover is closed. But, if someone, like in this case, says it´s broken and just to throw away, i really must repair it just because...

Anyway,  i found out that it´s probably the bearing in the bottom of the motor that is worn out, when i lift the axle it´s quiet... Any ugly tricks to fix it? 

 It wasn´t the bearing, it´s a piece of plastic inside the motor that has got loosened. I will try to glue it and post a picture of it here.
