    BeoVision 7-32 - without DVD

Just seen to my dealer a BV7-32 with no DVD reader included.

He says only have one to show and no price tag nor official announcement, nor any info about a BV7-40 version, but would be my joy if this can happen.

Just waiting for a BV-7 with no DVD player from years, now.

Did anyone knows more? I can take pictures next time I go in, if interested or not believers ;)

    Hi

This product has actually been in production for quite long time now. It was sold exclusively for hotels but are now also available for detail customers. If i remember correctly the price is about 27.000 Danish kroner, which is about 5.000 US dollars. My dealer told me today that it is due to be upgraded with HDMI soon.

    BV7-40 MK IV, BL5´s, BL3´s, BL 3500, BL7-4, BS3000, BC 6-23, BV 1, BS3.

Went back to my dealer to buy a pair of BL4000s and he told me that even a 40' version will be available.

It's now on my radar to upgrade my BV3... ;)

If they did this, they could save a lot of production costs by canning the BV/BC 6 series.

Interesting. If B&O are going to reduce the price by £1000 (£1K for a SD DVD player!) then I'd go for this option and then use the PS3 for the occasional time I'll play a DVD.

I know someone like Simon would think this is crazy, but if B&O put a £1000 value on the internal DVD player (on a £4.5K TV - 32" version) - ie. nearly 25% of the retail price - then they aren't accounting for their development costs correctly.

ive heard £1300.00 reduction without dvd player but then what a fantastic loading mechanism typical stunning b+o quality

how about repackaging the new panna bluray in a slim case like  dvd 2

some people will want to buy a  b+o bluray  and not mix and match
