Beosound 3000 linked to TV???? (newbie & not too tech savvy)

    Hi everyone.

I'm hoping to find an answer to the following.

Is it possible to connect my Beosound 3000 to my new tv (Panasonic TH42PX80) so i can get a better sound whilst watching tv?

I need to know what i'll need to do as far as settings on the Beosound and what cables would be needed (2 pin RCA - 5 pin DIN???)

I'm not too good when it comes to any sort of AV setups.

Don't want to have to buy a surround sound system if i can help it. (spent all my spare cash on the tv).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, RCA to 5-pin DIN will do the trick.  In the US the part # is 6270302 and goes for roughly $50.  I understand that these adaptors seem to grow on trees in the EU though. After that using the A. Tape or A.Aux button will flip the BS-3000 over to that input.

    We kid because we love.

For millions of years, mankind lived just like the animals. Then something happened which unleashed the power of our imagination. We learned to talk and we learned to listen..
