Since some weeks I have a problem with my BS9000.

When it is cold he has difficulty in reading disks burning cd's, and puts himself on pause.

But once warmly, having to play 15-20 mn, it read without problem all the disks.

the original cd plays without problems.....

of courses this burning cd's was ok few weeks ago.

did you have already this kind of problems ?

A lot of people seem to have problems with BS9000. When we bought ours it was ex demo and was very dusty. After cleaning, and using for the first time, we had the same problem as you. Then it just seemed to stop happening after about 2 weeks of use. It is either caused by dust or some sort of sensor having too much light on it perhaps. Or maybe by the cold - not sure about that but could be a possibility.

Could it be condensation? Or do you mean the BS9000 needs to warm up. If the latter, I would suspect a cracked solder joint which will make contact once warm.

Depending on how old your machine is my first suggestion would be dust buildup (see the other thread refering to BS 9000 playing problems). My machine was refusing to play and kept going to "Pause", but is now ok following a through cleaning (not all as recommended !)

I pass one hour to remove all dust from the BS9000, and i clean the laser with a "cotton tige" this is what you use for cleaning your ear.

Dry "cotton tige" no alcool or other, with circular movement. 

And now everithing is OK.

The besound 9000 attract the regard but the dust too, if you have any problems, the first think to do : CLEANING CLEANING CLEANING.

especialy if it's hanging verticaly.
