    Blueray upgrade?

Is it possible to upgrade B&O's DVD players to Blueray by taking it to the dealer or other kind of "tuner"?

As far as I know, B&O does not current have a plan to support BluRay.  The BluRay standard is still being defined.  Upgrading and existing DVD player to BluRay would require replacing the laser and all of the logic boards, i.e. replacing the entire unit.  I know that Sony has some pretty steep licensing fees and a lot of people are waiting for those to come down and the standard to stabilize before they bother incorporating it.

Our plan to include Blu-Ray in the BeoVision 7 MkIV has been discussed for some time. The module will be retro-compatible to the MkIII. This will launch sometime in the summer.

The BeoCenter 2 will not see an upgrade as there is no drive assembly that can be fitted to the unique architecture of the BeoCenter 2.

Trip, could you post some info regarding the BeoCenter 3?
