    Dear Santabot,

I've been a good boy this year - all I want for Christmas is some B&O stuff.

    Thanks

    D.

Not that much has changed since you were last here!

I love B&O. Always have and always will. I am sure they have a long and successful future ahead. They haven't let me down so far, only with a few proucts but to be fair, that could happen to anyone. It's about learning from your mistakes that makes the difference and I think they have; re: collaboration with Samsung specifically. I am tending to think of B&O in a slightly different context now. For example, one thing they introduced and successfully achieved was the brushed stainless steel (or brushed Aliminium look). This has held them in good stead for many years and became a virtual trademark across many of their products. However, I feel we are in times now where they need to come up with the next, new material, and I have no doubt they will. I see the future of B&O more from an aesthetical viewpoint as opposed to a technical one.

    Cheers, Simon.

That's the way to do it Foxtrott! I am sitting here with a glass of white wine listening to Jazz music streaming through Windows Media Player through a cheap set of Acer Desktop speakers ... BUT ... that's only because I am at my Mu's for Christmas! I'd usually be at home listening to Jazz CDs on my BS9000 through the wonderful BL 7-2 speaker that still blows me away eveytime I listen to it. As much as I love all of B&Os products range, surely their forte has to be with their speakers. I am going to get a pair of BL 4000s sometime soon. Still amazed at the sound of those speakers and the design is something else. Love them!
