Panasonic BlueRay BD 35 - where is the IR receiver?

I have real trouble to get the BD35 to work, unfortunately I am unable to locate the IR receiver to control the player with my BS3 & PUC. Any idea where it is?

    Thanks

    Karsten

It's on the right hand side of the disk tray, but to the left of the lettering. I think it's *just* to the left of the first logo on the top.

FWIW, I've found the 'Generic Panasonic Blu-Ray option works fine in the PUC controller.

Alex, great thank you! Now it works. Unfortunately I have only the PUC for the Panasonic DMP-BD10 which works great execept power off function.

Do you have any problems with power Off or On with your PUC?

I can't say I've ever tried powering down the BD35 through the PUC controller. TBH, it's not something I'd worry about, although it's something you might. The last time I checked (which was a few weeks ago), the BD35 wasn't on the PUC controller list, so a software update from your dealer would do nothing.

I'll try and find out if anything is happening for you!

    Karsten-

The power-off function works just fine with my BeoSystem 3, but it doesn't work with my BeoVision7. I am using the exact same Panasonic BD10 driver on both units to control my two BD35s. Interestingly enough, I have exactly the same problem using the Toshiba HD-DVD A20 driver to control my two Tosh A35s: power-on works with both the BS3 and the BV7, but power-off works only on the BS 3. It would seem that the fault lies not with the two PUCs, but rather with the BV7.

Interesting! I also have a Panasonic DVD Recorder attached to the same BS3, Power Off and On works without any problem
