    Re: Service manuals

    G'day Peter,

Are you able to find a service manual for a Beocord 1600 by any chance?

I have tried to look at the manuals pages to see if the 1600 manual is already available, but as I'm a "Lead/Bronze/Cast Aluminium Member" only, and I don't have a credit card for online purchasing, I'm caught between a pinch roller and a capstan spindle...

I'd be more than happy to cough up the extra euros if another payment method was available, such as SWIFT/Bank account, which I can manage right away. Any suggestions or ideas would be most welcome (and I apologise for the dearth of online credit :( )

I do have the 1600 manual - it is 103 pages so will take me some time to scan! I will put it as the next to do!

As far as payment is concerned, I am not the financial person (Just as well!) - ask Lee - I am sure he can sort something out. It will take me a little time to do this one!!! My scanner is a bit flaky!

Just had a look at the manual - it is a really good one! Lots of explanation and hints. I'll do it once the idiot PC has stopped defragmenting!

    Added today:

Aforesaid Beocord Reel to Reel 1200/1600

Beocord 1700/2200 - the 2200 is an interesting deck as it has indestructible glass heads and all separate components with no ICs so should be serviceable for almost ever! Also very tweakable so a good one. Much less temperamental than the 5000!

For the lovers of radial decks, the manual for the 1800,200,5000 and RX2 is now on.

Also I am adding some older 70s Danish Catalogues - one scanned and will be on soon!

    What a star!

Peter is a bit of an unsung hero in the manuals section, and i'd like to personally thank him in public for all the time he dedicates to a very important section of the site.

Manual for Beomaster 4000 now on and I have put two danish catalogues from the 70s on for those who like this era! Both originally from Struer Radio! If anyone has some of the older catalogues and has scanned them, please send them to me as I would like to get our catalogue collection as complete as possible.

    You brute! Laughing

Another big one! I do have this but you will need to sign up as a silver or gold member to access it. No rush as I will have to scan it first! The reel to reel service manuals are excellent - I'll check for definite tonight.

    Re: Service manuals

    Peter,

I am sorry but I think there is a small mistake on the mauals for Beogram 1800....Sad

The tekst on the Beoworld site tells: Beogram 1800 - 5213 ----- it is actually the manuals for Beogram 1800 - 581x which is uploaded.

    My problem

I am looking ofr the manuals for Beogram 1800 - 5213 - do you have this one ?

    Hi Peter,

Only just picked up this thread, are you still scanning the manuals? Would massively appreciate it if you could dig out a Beogram 1100 one and get that uploaded.

    It's a wicked job you're doing,

     Thanks

Do you want the 1100 or the 1102? The 1102 should be on and the 1100 is the same as the 1900/3400 basically and I have that one and will scan it. You do need to be a silver or gold member.

In this case, click on here! Normally just into the main section, and there is a tab for user and service manuals. Also have a look at the catalogue section in the Accessories area. They are worth the subscription in my view!

    Re: Service manuals

I seem to remember that there is a thread about this in the Beogram section. It may well mean that the motor needs servicing. Alternatively some of the speed control circuits could need components replacing. I would favour the first, though check under the deck for any loose control arms.
