Free music for at monthly fee on BS5

Does anyone know if B&O are considering adding the option to stream (all) music for at monthly fee.

    Like here http://www.touchdiva.com/

This would be a great feture which would make me order one right now.

B&O are very conscious of sound quality so I doubt very much that they would offer a download service any time soon as, currently, all download services (except MusicGiants, only available in the US)  only offer downloads in compressed quality (even iTunes socalled LossLess is quite compressed and therefore not true lossless).

However, I have sent B&O an email suggestion that they form a partnership with MusicGiants with a view to offering their Full HD/lossless downloads also outside the US.

Maybe I don't understand the terms used - I was not looking for at download service, but a service that streams the music on demand. So you basicly have access to all music, when you want (on-demand). And of course there should be no compromizes in the sound quality.

I just thourght - with such an easy to operate product - why not have access to all music. In stead of beeing limited to you own music collection.

I would indeed pay a monthly fee for such a service.

I too would be happy to pay a monthy subscription fee.  I would think of all the money I would have saved buying a TouchDiva rather than the Beosound 5 and be happy to spend all the cash I had saved.

Let me rectify this common misunderstanding.

The music sold on the iTunes music store, is not sold in a lossless format, it is compressed using a lossy format call AAC.

On iTunes, however, you can rip you own CDs using a lossless format called "Apple lossless". This is a true lossless format. It compresses the file a least 50%, but when uncompressed, it reproduces bit for bit the same file as on your CD. No information was removed. Just like when you compress a file using ZIP, when you uncompress it, you have the same file as the original. Nothing was lost, even though it has been compressed.
